To win, simply be the person with the greatest increase in posts from the starting time of this contest (July 16, 2008) to the ending point (September 1, 2008).  Your starting post count makes absolutely no difference.  I have recorded exactly what everyone's postcount currently is, and will compare it to the ending postcounts of everyone else at the end, to see who made the greatest amount of new posts and topics in that time.  In this way, even completely new users have just as good of a chance to win as long-time members.  The winner will receive the username, password, and pin number of the account through a PM on Game Gimp.

How Do I Win?

To win, just be the person who has the greatest increase in postcount on the Game Gimp forums by September 1st.  There are rules to follow, however.  Any violations of the posting rules will instantly disqualify you from the contest and possibly lead to a ban.  See the bottom of this post for the rules and instructions for how to join.

If you invite a friend and they make a post in their introduction that you referred them, or they sign up from an invitation you sent them through the site, you will get Half of the posts they make added your total postcount at the end of the contest.  This does not work like a pyramid though.  
For example, if you invite 3 friends who all make 20 posts, your total score will be your postcount + 30.  Easy enough?  Friends that your friends refer only go to their totals, not your own.  Also, this only counts for people who you get to join after July 15, not before.

Why Are You Giving This Away?

I'll be honest, I don't play RuneScape anymore; and while it is an incredibly deep game to be free, I just don't have the time for it.  I do, however, love talking about games and pretty much anything on this site, Game Gimp.  I enjoy the community aspect.  My goal for this contest is for the Game Gimp community to grow larger and more active than I ever thought possible.  I want to see people sharing their gaming stories, forming guilds, fantasizing about future games, and pretty much anything else that comes to mind.  The community is what is important to me.  And I want to share the joy I get from that with you guys.  One lucky person will also get an awesome account out of this contest as well, which I'm sure will bring him or her much joy.  Just remember to have fun, enjoy your time here, and respect the fact that everyone else is here to have fun as well.
